I Am Here

I Am Here

As life rushed all around me,

new pains drew ever near.

In anguish, loud, I spouted –

“God, do you know that I am here?”

Amidst my lamentations,

God’s answer was so clear;

softly came into my mind –

“Do you know that I am here.”
